ACUPUNCTURE

Acupuncture is the stimulation of specific acupoints along the skin of the body involving various methods such as the application of heat, pressure, or laser or penetration of thin needles. It is a form of complementary and alternative medicine and a key component of traditional Korean medicine (KM).

CUPPING THERAPHY

Cupping therapy is an ancient Korean form of alternative medicine in which a local suction is created on the skin; practitioners believe this mobilizes blood flow in order to promote healing.

PHYSIOTHERAPY

Physical therapy or physiotherapy (sometimes abbreviated to PT) is a health care profession primarily concerned with the remediation of impairments and disabilities and the promotion of mobility, functional ability, quality of life and movement potential through examination, evaluation, diagnosis and physical intervention.

MOXIBUSTION

Moxibustion (Korean:뜸; Chinese: 灸; pinyin: jiǔ) is a traditional Korean medicine therapy using moxa made from dried mugwort (Artemisia argyi). It plays an important role in the traditional medical systems of Korea, China (including Tibet), Japan, Vietnam, and Mongolia. 

CHIROPRACTIC

Chiropractic is a form of alternative medicine. that emphasizes diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system, especially the spine, under the belief that these disorders affect general health via the nervous system.

PHARMACOPUNCTURE

Pharmacopuncture is a Korean new needle therapy that integrates acupuncture and herbal therapies, and it has the potential to treat many diseases. Herbal acupuncture therapy is a new form of therapy derived from conjunction of herbal medicine and acupuncture therapy. Minute amount of herbal extraction is injected in affected areas to induce cure by maximizing efficacies of acupuncture and herbal medicne.

HERBAL MEDICINE

Herbalism ("Herbology" or "Herbal Medicine") is use of plants for medicinal purposes, and the study of such use. Plants have been the basis for medical treatments through much of human history, and such traditional medicine is still widely practiced today.

OTHEOPATHY

Osteopathy is a type of complementary and alternative medicine. Its practitioners claim that the wellbeing of an individual depends on their bones, muscles, ligaments and connective tissue functioning smoothly together. Osteopaths receive special training in the musculoskeletal system.

QIGONG

Qigong, chi kung, or chi gung (simplified Chinese: 气功; traditional Chinese: 氣功; pinyin: qìgōng; Wade–Giles: chi gong; literally: "Life Energy Cultivation") is a practice of aligning body, breath, and mind for health, meditation, and martial arts training. With roots in Korean medicine, philosophy, and martial arts, qigong is traditionally viewed as a practice to cultivate and balance qi (chi) or what has been translated as "life energy".
